Terms of Use

Plain-English terms.

The basics of how CarHandled works, what you're agreeing to when you buy, and what we both can and can't do. No legal jargon — straight talk.

Effective: May 8, 2026
The Short Version

You buy. You own. We help.

You always purchase your vehicle directly from a dealership. CarHandled provides tools, scripts, and guidance — never financing, brokerage, or commissions.

1. About CarHandled

CarHandled provides educational tools and concierge services to help people negotiate better car deals. We sell two things:

  • The CarHandled Toolkit — a $29 digital product including PDF guides, Google Sheets calculators, email scripts, and checklists
  • Concierge Service — done-for-you sourcing, negotiation, and delivery coordination at three tiers ($129, $1,299, and $2,999)

What we are not: CarHandled is not a dealership, broker, lender, insurance provider, or vehicle reseller. We do not buy, sell, finance, deliver, or take title to any vehicle. All vehicle transactions occur directly between you and licensed third-party dealerships.

2. Toolkit license & use

When you purchase the CarHandled Toolkit, you receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive personal license to use the included files for your own car-buying research and preparation. The license does not transfer ownership of the content — CarHandled retains all intellectual property rights.

You may
  • Use the files for your own car purchases
  • Make copies of the spreadsheets in your own Google Drive
  • Store personal copies on your devices
  • Reference the email scripts in your own dealer communications
You may not
  • Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the files
  • Republish content publicly or commercially
  • Reverse-engineer or repackage the formulas, logic, or systems
  • Claim authorship or pass off the work as your own

Refunds

The Toolkit comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Full details are on our refund policy page.

Updates

Toolkit purchasers receive free content updates for the version you bought. If we release a substantially new version, you'll be notified by email and may receive access at a discount or as part of a separate purchase, depending on the scope of the changes.

3. Concierge service terms

Our Concierge services include sourcing, research, strategy, dealer outreach, negotiation support, and delivery coordination — designed to help you make informed and confident car-buying decisions.

How it works

  • You apply through our intake form and we follow up to confirm scope
  • You pay the agreed flat fee directly to CarHandled via Stripe
  • We deliver the agreed work over the timeline disclosed for your tier
  • You sign and pay the dealership directly — never through us

What we don't do

  • We do not accept, hold, or transfer funds for vehicle transactions
  • We are not a party to your purchase agreement with the dealership
  • We do not earn commissions, kickbacks, or referral fees from dealers — ever
  • We do not mark up rates, financing, or any third-party product

Refunds

Concierge refund terms vary by service tier and how far we've progressed in your engagement. Full details on our refund policy page.

4. Disclaimers

No financial, legal, or tax advice

The Toolkit content and Concierge guidance are for general informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, accounting, or tax advice. For advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed professional.

No guaranteed savings or outcomes

While we provide proven strategies and have helped buyers save significant amounts, every market, vehicle, dealer, and credit profile is different. We do not guarantee any specific dollar amount of savings, dealer agreement, financing rate, or transaction outcome.

Third-party services

The Toolkit references and the Concierge process may interact with third-party services (Google Sheets, dealer websites, financial institutions). We are not responsible for changes, outages, or terms of those third-party services.

Marketing examples

Customer testimonials, case studies, and savings examples shown on the website reflect specific buyers' experiences. Your results will vary based on your market, timing, vehicle availability, credit profile, negotiation skill, and other factors.

5. Your responsibilities

By purchasing the Toolkit or engaging the Concierge, you agree that:

  • You make all final purchase, financing, and contractual decisions yourself
  • You will review any documents, quotes, or contracts before signing
  • You provide accurate information when applying for Concierge services
  • You communicate respectfully with our team — abuse, harassment, or discriminatory behavior may result in service termination without refund
  • You comply with all applicable laws when buying, financing, registering, or insuring your vehicle

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website and within the Toolkit — including written guides, spreadsheet templates, calculator formulas, email scripts, checklists, designs, branding, and logos — is the intellectual property of CarHandled or its licensors. The "CarHandled" name and logo are unregistered trademarks of CarHandled.

Unauthorized copying, redistribution, public publishing, or commercial use of CarHandled content is prohibited and may result in legal action and termination of your license.

7. Termination of access

We reserve the right to revoke access to the Toolkit or suspend Concierge services if a user:

  • Distributes Toolkit files publicly or commercially
  • Engages in abusive, threatening, or harassing communication with our team
  • Provides false information when applying for Concierge services
  • Initiates a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us directly
  • Violates any provision of these terms

For Toolkit purchases, termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless within the 30-day refund window. For Concierge engagements, termination terms follow the refund policy applicable to your service tier.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarHandled and its founders, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost savings, missed opportunities, financing decisions, or contract terms — arising from your use of the Toolkit, our website, or our Concierge services.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid CarHandled in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CarHandled is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of CarHandled services will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through binding arbitration in the applicable jurisdiction.

10. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our business evolves. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes, we'll notify subscribers and active clients by email. Your continued use of the site or services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
