Car Buying Toolkit ($29)

30-day refund — no questions asked. If you purchase the Toolkit and it doesn't help, email us within 30 days of your purchase and we'll issue a full refund. You don't need to explain, justify, or return anything. Just say the word.

This applies whether you've used the toolkit, partially used it, or never opened it. We trust you.

Why we offer this

The toolkit was built to save buyers thousands of dollars. If it doesn't deliver value to you specifically, you shouldn't pay for it. The 30-day window gives you enough time to actually use the system before deciding.

Concierge Services

Concierge work is hands-on and time-intensive, so refund terms vary by service tier and how far we've progressed. The principle is simple: you can cancel before work starts. Once we begin sourcing, negotiating, or contacting dealers on your behalf, the work has been performed.

Performance assurance

If you fully engage with our process — provide accurate information, respond to communications, and follow our recommendations — and you don't believe the service delivered value, email us within 10 days of completion. We'll personally review your case and work toward a fair resolution.

We don't guarantee a specific dollar amount of savings (every market and credit profile is different), but we stand behind the quality of our work.

How to request a refund

The process is straightforward. Most refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.

This helps us locate your transaction. If you have your Stripe receipt, forwarding it works perfectly.

Refunds return to the original payment method. Bank processing times vary — typically 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

You'll get a confirmation email

Once the refund is issued from our end, we'll send you a confirmation. If you don't see it within 7 business days, reply to your original email and we'll investigate.

What's not covered

For full transparency, here's what falls outside our refund policy:

  • Concierge fees once dealer outreach has begun on your behalf (work is in progress)
  • Third-party costs you pay directly (vehicle shipping, DMV, title, taxes, dealer fees) — these are paid to those providers, not to CarHandled
  • Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after toolkit purchase
  • Refund requests for the Concierge after a vehicle has been delivered

Chargebacks & disputes

Before filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank, please email us first. Almost every issue can be resolved directly within a few hours. Chargebacks often take 30–60 days to resolve through banks and can be frustrating for everyone — especially when a quick reply would have solved the problem.

If you've emailed us and we haven't responded within 5 business days, escalation is reasonable. Until then, give us a chance to make it right. We respond fast.
